On Saturday 14th August, some of the Kevin Beattie Foundation Executives travelled to Burton Albion FC to watch Ipswich Town FC.

We did so in style by enjoying hospitality at Pirelli Stadium. Thanks to Elise Tunstall and Carly Evans at Burton Albion, we were looked after very well from the moment we arrived.

We were given a nice three course meal with plenty of drinks flowing and our seats just outside the Box we were in, so all very enjoyable.

Also a big thank you must go to Nigel Powlson for submitting a piece about the Foundation in the Matchday programme.

Nigel also took time to get a picture of us pitch side which he put on the club’s website which was a kind gesture and very thoughtful.

Despite Ipswich Town coming away with a defeat, it was a great day all round and we thank Burton Albion FC for looking after us and hope they have an enjoyable season ahead.
