FUN NIGHT REAPS REWARDS FOR IAN’S CHARITY CHOICE
On 26 March 2022, KBF welcomed Football Funny Man, Ian Holloway to Ipswich for a fun night of laughs in aid of The Deaf Health Charity. This charity was chosen by Ian as all three of his daughters are deaf.
The Event at Novotel was a sell out and we had special guests from the Deaf Health Charity who wanted to attend. Sadly, the original Host, Gordon Sparks from Plymouth Argyle was missing due to illness but luckily KBF had a stand-in Host in Carl Day who did a magnificent job on the night.
Earlier in the day, Ian was looked after by KBF at the Ipswich Town v Plymouth Argyle game where he was treated to fabulous hospitality, meeting former Town players, watching from the Directors Box.
In the Evening the audience was entertained in two parts. The first half saw Ian talk about his growing up and how he became a professional player to Management. The second half was a Q&A from the floor and Ian had the Audience in stitches with his answers.
Next, we had the Raffle and Auction which are detailed below. We ended with personal gifts to Ian, from both KBF & Purple Sector Events, which he seemed to enjoy, please see the pictures.
We would like to thank Ian Holloway, Novotel, Fen Regis Trophies (www.fenregistrophies.co.uk who donated a lovely gift to the Host), and all those who donated prizes along with everyone who purchased Raffle tickets and made bids in the Auction.
After all expenditure was deducted the total raised was £ 2,270.43
