The day after Beattie is Back debut race at Newcastle Racecourse, The KBF were kindly offered a private tour of St James’s Park, home of Newcastle United FC.

It was great especially as Sir Bobby Robson had such a connection with both Ipswich Town and Newcastle United.

On the tour we were shown Sir Bobby Robson’s Suite, his two seats they still have the Directors box, his collection of honours, shirts etc plus a bust of him in the Away players entrance.

We were kindly shown into the Home Dressing Room where we had our Town KBF Shirt up with the Newcastle players shirts and also pitchside, which is all great publicity.

The whole tour was amazing and stories told made the whole trip a great experience.

It is hoped we will work with the club again in the future for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.
